Pitmaston Reading Nights 

Encouraging children to read for pleasure is a fundamental and highly valued part of our English curriculum.  We believe that developing a passion for reading, empowers children and provides them with a wealth of opportunities throughout their life.  At Pitmaston Primary School, we strive to instill a love and respect for books through Pitmaston Reading Nights. This gives children and their families the opportunity to spend quality time together to immerse themselves in a shared reading experience complete with soft mats, relaxing music, cushions and hot chocolate whilst wearing pyjamas! Families who have a positive attitude towards reading books, in turn, help their children positively view Reading.
