The children have been playing in the Dinosaur Museum, looking at and drawing bones and fossils, using money at the till to buy tickets, and buying food in the café.

The children have been playing in the Post Office, writing letters and invitations to post, counting and weighing parcels and designing stamps.  

This week we have been solving problems in our Maths lessons. We have been ordering numbers, sorting shapes and objects in different ways, sharing objects and comparing the capacity of containers. We have been learning to talk about our Maths and record our ideas in different ways.

Chinese New Year The children had lovely time learning about China. The activities included making lanterns, lucky purses, writing Chinese letters and numbers, tasting Chinese food, dancing, singing and building the Great Wall of China!

Admission to each event is free of charge, but we request that every child attending borrows at least two items on the day, and that they bring these items to the session.
